Exhibition number 2 was another great success, commenting on Politcial Power through our young creatives' perspectives. The extent to which each individual artist takes on this theme is completely open and free. Some felt encouraged to comment on the current issues of Brexit, presidential candidacies in the UK and America, others focused on gender and the human figure and others created their own world with it's own political hierarchies.
The outcome created a beautiful range of work which was presented beautifully and extremely professionally. The musicians included rapper, grime artist Paradox, singer, songwriter Sasha and her guitarist James, and singer, songwriter Joy Crookes with her guitarist Charles. They all sang extremely thought-provoking lyrics representing their personal battles with Political Power within topics of upbringing, family, home-town or love.
